We’re ready for V-Day over at the Toal House. We’ve got our Valentine’s Day date all figured out and I now have the perfect ensemble wear. I like to be festive and mix pinks and reds with white. I also love romantic fabrics like lace and soft velvets. This look is obviously the best of both worlds. I’m super into the feminine blush pink pleated velvet skirt. I think my favorite part is the ladylike length. I would even wear it for a Galentine’s brunch paired with a fun graphic tee and leather jacket.
This lace top is seriously sweet. The mock neck collar is fashion forward, but still really wearable. Also, I feel like it will be a really versatile piece in my wardrobe come Spring. I edge the whole look up a bit with my studded pointed toe heels. I wear these and my black ones a ton because they always finish off looks perfectly. They get tons of compliments and are the most affordable Valentino Rocketed dupes on the market!
Side note…the flowers I’m toting around are spray roses. They are probably my favorite flowers (other than peonies). I recommend them to every friend getting married for bouquets and floral arrangements. They’re available all year round and several flowers grow on a single stem so you get more bang for your buck. They’re also a lot less expensive than regular roses. They’re smaller in size, but they do take up a decent amount of space in an arrangement. We did white ones in our wedding floral arrangements and they were beautiful without costing a fortune. I still use them a lot for floral arrangements thoughout our house.
Just a little floral PSA for any ladies getting married or who will be lucky enough for a Valentine’s engagement!
