Happy Friday Friends!

I’m having a bit of a hard time swallowing the fact that this is the last weekend of October! Where did the month go? We’re just starting to get Fall weather here like as of Tuesday this week, so I’ve been able to break out the boots and sweaters. Keeping my fingers, toes, and everything else crossed that it stays this way.

For me, October was a month unintentionally dedicated to shoe shopping! Since the beginning of the month I somehow managed to buy 8 new pairs of kicks, which is excessive even for me. From slip on sneakers to OTK boots, I really covered all my bases.

So far the most worn pairs out of the bunch are the slide on sneaks and the velvet mule loafers. I love the sneakers because they’re so comfy and versatile. They look great with casual outfits and dress down my favorite shift dresses perfectly. I’m obsessed with the velvet mules because velvet is super on-trend and I love the squared off toe – its very menswear.

I mentioned in Monday’s post what a fan I was of these burgundy platform heels, because as far as a heel goes…these are pretty darn comfortable. The styling is very 70s which, which I’m totally into, and the price is phenomenal. They’re also totally different from every other pair of shoes I own.

Notice two pairs of black booties in this round-up. Both chelsea boots, both totally different! One is a chelsea boot with a good 3 1/2 inch heel, which will be like an everyday boot for me. The other is a flat chelsea boot with a super on-trend pearl heel! I got mine for a steal at Marshals, so I couldn’t pass them up. I’m always up for a good juxtaposition, so the edgy boot style with the feminine touch of peals is actual perfection to me.

Lastly, we need to talk about these OTK boots. If you have wider calves and have a difficult time fitting into regular OTK boots these are for you! They come in wide calf and extra wide calf and are available in like 4 different colors. They’re stylish and best of all comfortable. Also, if you’re tall (I’m 5’8″) these will come up over your knee – hear the angels rejoicing!

Mike is probably ready to commit me to an institution because clearly I am shoe crazy. But it’s not an addiction…I can stop whenever I want ;). Which pair is your favorite?
